Welcome to His Holiness Samdech Preah Maha Ghosananda Virtual Memorial. He was one of Cambodia's finest, referred to as "Cambodia's Living Treasure" and "Cambodia's Ghandi". He was an established and internationally well renowned scholar and meditation master fluent in 15 languages. He was instrumental in helping to achieve peace in Cambodia and in reestablishing the Sangha (Order of Monks) in the war torn land, post The Khmer Rouge Regime. He dedicated his entire life to promoting World Peace and has won many international accolades. He was a 4-time nominatee for the Nobel Peace Prize Father of the First Dhammayietra-Walk for Peace and Reconciliation in Cambodia which continues to this day.
